How to Connect and Remove Wi-Fi Networks from Google Pixel?

Like any other smartphone or tablet your Google Pixel Setup can also be connected to wi-fi network connection, or network can be removed or changed.  Your device remembers the wi-fi network to which it was initially connected and automatically connects to it when it comes in the range of that network. Turn on wi-fi and connect to a network

Follow these steps for connecting your Google Pixel Com Setup to a wi-fi network:

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • At the top click on the on/off switch.
  • In the list of available networks, click on the name of your network. If the connection secured and need a password, then you will see the wi-fi lock.
  • When you are connected, it will be shown under the name of the network and it is a saved network and it connects automatically when the device comes in the range.

Adding a wi-fi network

Most of the wi-fi networks come in the list of available networks. If the network to whom you want to connect is not in the list, then click on More > Refresh. For adding a wi-fi network follow these steps:

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • At the top click on the on/off switch for turning it on.
  • At the bottom of the list click on Add network.
  • If required add the name of the network and other details.
  • Click on save.
  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • At the top click on the on/off switch for turning it on.
  • Click on the saved network.
  • Now click n forget option.

Removing a wi-fi network

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • At the top click on the on/off switch for turning it on.
  • Click on the saved network.
  • Now click n forget option.

Changing the settings for a wi-fi network

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • Now connect to the desired network.
  • To see the details, click on network name. You will see connection status, security, link speed, signal strength, and frequency.
  • For changing the settings of network, touch and hold the name of the network. Then you can choose to forget the network or modify the network.

Advanced wi-fi Settings

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • Touch and hold the name of the network.
  • Click on modify network.
  • Click on the down arrow next to the advanced options.
  • Now click on the down arrow next to the proxy and select none, manual, or proxy auto config.
  • If necessary, click on proxy settings.
  • Click on the option of save.
  • The setup of proxy settings must be done differently for each wi-fi network.

Edit the advanced wi-fi network

  • Open the settings app of your device.
  • Click on wi-fi.
  • Click on more and then Advanced.
  • Click on the available settings option. You will get these option and theses may vary by device and version of Android. The settings include Install Certificates, WPS direct, Network notification, WPS PIN entry, keep wi-fi on during sleep, wi-fi direct, and wi-fi frequency band.
